Grand Convergence: 2010
Many of us are still muttering to ourselves about EPIC 2014, when along come “three major trends — ubiquitous access, ambient intelligence and semantic connectivity — will converge to create disruptions and opportunities as significant as the Web.” Read the entire story by Dan Farber and then consider the question: “Can The Borg be far behind?”

Finally had time to get a couple of themes uploaded. Still trying to figger out why they look like they’re supposed to…almost. Be glad to finally get the infrastructure done so I can get down to some serious regurgitation.

I am excited AND scared to death about entering my first post! The installation of WP by a mouse click on the Quick Install at Dreamhost was, well, a dream. Why the hell can’t Billy G and the MS posse make things this simple? True, I’ve got much to learn…html, css, and all that crap, but I suppose it will all come with time, patience, trial-by-fire and error after error…plus lots of practice, practice, practice.
Deleting the default WP ‘Hello World’ sample post sent me into a cold sweat, since it just occurred to me that may be the last one I had that actually worked and looked OK. But, what the hell…here goes!
