FDR Faked Polio…
On the heels of totally-fucking-idiot Rush Limbaugh’s blast of Michael J. Fox for acting as if he had Parkinson’s Disease or purposely being off his meds to exaggerate the visual effects, comes another claim by Limbaugh that FDR faked polio to garner sympathy for passing his New Deal program.
It has been rumored that he is also preparing an attack on Christopher Reeve for faking death in order to drum up support for stem cell research, the same issue to which Fox was speaking. What is it about research leading to saving lives that scares these people so?
Can’t somebody get this worm to shut the hell up? Are there no high ranking Republicans left who have any sense of dignity, any sense at all of what is right and what is wrong? Perhaps all they are capable of seeing is what is right and what is left…

I was just reading about this in the newspaper this morning Winston. I think Mr. Limbaugh needs to be on some medication himself. Is he totally wacko…or is he just faking it? This man insults our intelligence….ALL OF US! Someone please, find a nice soft. quiet room where he won’t do any damage to anyone….or himself.
Joy, he really is WACKO, in the truest sense. It is unbelievable that he still has a hardcore extreme right-wing conservative following for his radio show. A few years ago I listened to him for a little while simply because he was talking about his experience with cochlear implants, and being close to needing hearing aids myself, I found that interesting. But he was so completely obnoxious that I could not endure him for long. A guy working for me at the time as my Sr. Technician was also very right-wing conservative, Bush supporter, the whole nine yards, but even he could not take Limbaugh. If you’ve never heard him, be thankful. And he IS on meds - BIGTIME! He was busted by the drug cops for illegal possession and use of some controlled substances, but being a multi-millionaire Bush supporter, he “bought” his way out of it and escaped unscathed. He is definitely part of the problem and not the solution… Truly the scum of the earth…

Winston, I want to add my vote for having Rush committed to the asylum. He knows nothing of parkinsons and legitimate medication. Hell, the man can’t even buy his own drugs - he sent his maid out to score for him. I look forward to the day when Rush has his national stage taken away from him. Not cause he is a conservative. Just cause he is an idiot.

I recall a saying, something about empty vessels making the most noise. I suppose Fox, Roosevelt and Reeves are all Democrats? Did he attack any Republicians for sham behaviour?
ainelivia … He is not a politician himself, but has been an unofficial shill for the Republican party for several years. No, I don’t think he has ever attacked a Republican. You are lucky you never heard him or heard of him. He is really small potatoes, but gets rotten and stinks enough to get noticed on occasion, especially when he does something outrageously vicious and stupid like this.
You know, I view Rush Limbaugh as an entertainer, nothing more, nothing less. I like the material/schticks of some entertainers and not others. I watch some TV shows and not others. I eat some foods and not others. I choose not to ingest Rush Limbaugh’s material.
The scary thing, to me, is that his fans take him seriously.
