Actually I’ve only been to one funeral in the past year. There was a spate of surprises between 40 and 50 (stress related deaths) but everybody who made it past 50 seems still to be alive, at least in my circle of friends (I’m 63 btw).
MLH always says…”I think I’m getting old…my friends are starting to look like my parents.”
It’s my eyesight that I really resent going.
