Write Your Own Caption…
Seeing this for the first time, all I could think was, WTF? But then a dozen captions popped into my head, none of which are fit for public consumption. Besides, I would rather hear your captions born of vastly more creativity than resides here. Put aside your pro and con feelings about these two guys for a moment, lighten up and have some fun. The best caption, in my humble opinion, will receive free lifetime permission to read this blog as frequently as desired. What say ye?

I’ve seen this pic before, but it wasn’t till I tried to think up a caption for it that I realized how complicated it is. [Aside: it's hard to stay "lightened up," too, as I think of how perfectly it, to my mind, signifies just how cozy an association McCain has sought with a man and a base whose ideals he had once so vehemently opposed. Okay--I feel better now.]
So how about these:
1) McCain: Don’t worry, George–you know that saying about keeping your friends close . . .
2) Bush and McCain show just how much they embrace their opposition to same-sex marriage, as happy friends share the moment. “I never thought those two would _ever_ get together,” one said.
Gosh, John. I said embrace my values and forgive my lies, not hump my thighs.

This healing by the touch of my hand is exhausting. Just this one more and I’ve gotta quit for today. That big pimple on John’s face just has to go.
i tried to think of something but that photo is just so pathetic and appalls me to a level that makes humorous thought impossible for me. The depths to which people will go for power and the joy it gives some to have it over others is simply beyond my comprehension… That photo says it all about both men

That is funny Rain. I visited here over the weekend and could not think of a funny caption for pretty much the exact reasons that you list.
