Honesty…
The best measure of a man’s honesty isn’t his income tax return. It’s the zero adjust on his bathroom scale. – Arthur C. Clarke

Fortunately, it’s not the same for women, right? Right? Or does it also make me a big fat liar?
I solve that problem… no scales
Mine doesn’t have a zero adjust. Where can I get one that does?
The wife uses the scales upstairs.
Probably because the pull of gravity is lower there
I’m with Rain on this one.
I’ve just grumbled on my blog and someone said I should ask outright so I will: why have I been downgraded?
I mean you don’t have to come and see me everyday but I was on your daily bread list and now I’m not so I wondered if my blog had changed.
My comment to Liz on her post:
Oh, Liz, I never intended to cause you any discomfort. There are some who would say you were lucky to not have me snooping around so often. (big grin)
No, nothing you have done or not done. Same goes for Joy. From time to time I rotate people in and out of there. I had a post about that sometime in the past and if I can find it, will give you a link to it.
Leslie said it correctly — there are just so many blogs that I want to visit on a daily basis but time does not permit. You are the first person who has noticed and said anything, so I shall reward you with being promoted once more. I do appreciate your loyalty and interest more than I can express in this limited space.
Oh Winston, it looks like Liz and I have shamed you into a corner…so to speak. I don’t think that was either of our intention. Isn’t it funny how we take to heart this blogging business…and it’s community. I know only too well what you mean by time not permitting you to visit everyone….all the time.
You DO know you have every right to do what you want…no guilt involved, don’t you? I for one want you to know that.
As men don’t talk about their weight I suggest that it relates more to vanity that honesty.
Some time back he downgraded me to the less than daily and I did the same thing wondered
What did I do to cause it? I still look frequently to see if I am still on the daily list lol All our egos are fragile, aren’t they? *s*
I must reprimand you on downgrading Liz… have you not seen her lovely white doggie George? Upgrade her at once, please!¬ ;->…
Dear Winston, please downgrade me again! I am embarrassed! I didn’t mean to make you do that; I just wanted to know why!
If a feller doesn’t have a bathroom scale, has he in essence opted out of the honesty thing?
Arthur C. Clarke should stick to writing really cool fiction, and stay out of the pithy sayings business, he ain’t very good at it.
Speaking of downgraded (is there a word “outraded”)?
