More and more I am finding that only two words adequately express what needs to be said…

    Thank you.

Thanks all for comments. And thanks to 2martini for the link. That is the best Eagles rendition of Hotel California I’ve heard. I swear, those guys get better with age, just like fine wine and … moi? I’ll cue that one up for posting in the near future.

    How old are you?

  8. Winston April 26th, 2008 5:45 am

@May: Ageless. A man for all ages. Age should never become either a reason or an excuse.

the Eagles… very hard to find any better.

(I like your statement above about age.)

I agree. I am not too young either.

    Winston,

I just sort of stumbled on that. But you are right. I think it is the best version of Hotel California. I have watched it several times. It gets better each time.

Just goes to show that performance gets better when the performers get older. I have tried to explain that to my wife.

Oh lord, does this bring back memories, wonderful, like good wine, better with time.

My first concert with adults was The Eagles in 1974. Opening act, Dan Fogelberg.I’m not much of a fan anymore but I still like the way they covered the Tom Waits song Old Fifty-Five.

    Thanks for the time tunnel.
